The Bear and the Fox
All aids, themselves made fairer by their place,
Whether the horse by him became his deed,
Finding myself in honour so forbid,"Gilbert looks very young for a doctor. I'm afraid people won't have much confidence in him," said Mrs. Jasper Bell gloomily. Then she shut her mouth tightly, as if she had said what she considered it her duty to say and held her conscience clear. She belonged to the type which always has a stringy black feather in its hat and straggling locks of hair on its neck.

Hideo Kojima, lead designer behind both the Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders franchises, has been turned loose in London recently, according to photos posted on his Twitter.

Kojima and the PS4's lead system architect Mark Cerny have been travelling around together since the former announced he was reforming Kojima Studios on Sony's payroll and it seems they've finally made it to Blighty.

He's been seeing the sights: the tube, Oxford Circus and er… Guildford and it looks like he's heading around the country checking out some of the new technology being developed for Sony's PlayStation platform.

Including this:

Visiting London VR team. Blurred out part of photo is the plan for their next VR experience -- sorry! pic.twitter.com/PKnjzoLhVB— Mark Cerny (@cerny) January 25, 2016Here's where it gets interesting. Kojima visited London Studios today to play their forthcoming VR game London Heist, which you'll remember I loved.

Kojima is known for his love of movies, a distrust/awe of technology and a propensity for meta-jokes. VR is the bleeding edge of video games technology and especially with games like London Heist, drop you straight into what feels like a movie.

Does this mean Hideo Kojima is making a VR game? No clue, and while we've asked Sony for comment we're eagerly anticipating a "no comment" as Sony do not comment on rumours and speculation. But will he be able to resist experimenting with the new technology?

Well. it'd be a shame if he kept us waiting, huh?

I know Oceanhorn's been out for a while now on the Nintendo Switch, but if you've not yet played it you're in luck - there's a demo coming later this week.
#Oceanhorn FREE DEMO is coming to #Switch This Thursday, Oct. 12th -Embark on an epic adventure! #NintendoSwitch #Demo #Free pic.twitter.com/JjDASwu4SM— FDG Entertainment (@FDG_Games) October 9, 2017Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is an isometric action/adventure game with puzzle elements. In it, you'll play through numerous islands and sail the seas between them in search of your dear ol' Pa and the sea monster, Oceanhorn. With over 15 hours of gameplay available, multiple islands to explore, tons of bad guys to fight, and lots of puzzles to solve, it's an excellent game which we enjoyed on both mobile and Switch. The free demo launches in the eShop this Thursday, October 12th, and I'd certainly recommend trying it out.

The Eagle built her nest in the branches of a tall tree, while the Fox crept into the underwood and there produced her young. Not long after they had agreed upon this plan, the Eagle, being in want of provision for her young ones, swooped down while the Fox was out, seized upon one of the little cubs, and feasted herself and her brood. The Fox on her return, discovered what had happened, but was less grieved for the death of her young than for her inability to avenge them. A just retribution, however, quickly fell upon the Eagle. While hovering near an altar, on which some villagers were sacrificing a goat, she suddenly seized a piece of the flesh, and carried it, along with a burning cinder, to her nest. A strong breeze soon fanned the spark into a flame, and the eaglets, as yet unfledged and helpless, were roasted in their nest and dropped down dead at the bottom of the tree. There, in the sight of the Eagle, the Fox gobbled them up.
