4、
The Chinese Room's critically acclaimed narrative-driven game Dear Esther is now available for iOS devices.

Despite being a critical darling when it was released back in 2012 Dear Esther is often the source of ridicule from folks who don't' feel that it's really a game. Whatever you may think of it, Dear Esther is certainly an important game. It paved the way for more games of its ilk such as the excellent What Remains of Edith Finch. So it's great to see it make its way over to Apple devices.

If you've never had any dealings with Dear Esther it's a story-focused game where you explore the coastline of the mysterious Hebridean isle. Accompanying you on your journey is an unknown narrator who reads out parts of a letter that was written to the titular Esther.

As you explore the isle you may see various scribblings on cave walls and different parts of some machine scattered throughout the environment. You might also spy a spectral being off in the distance on occasion as well as you're left to interpret the events of the story.

It's also a visually spectacular looking game with incredible amounts of detail to be found in the environment. Given its age, it still holds up remarkably well and I'm intrigued to see how that translates to iPhones and iPads.

If you're pressed for time but are interested in what Dear Esther has to offer, fear not. It's not a particularly long game, you'll be able to see everything it has to offer in around an hour though you can expect the game to stick with you a fair bit longer than that.

Dear Esther is available now on the App Store. It's a premium game that costs $4.99/£4.99.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

3、A HARE pounced upon by an eagle sobbed very much and uttered cries like a child. A Sparrow upbraided her and said, "Where now is thy remarkable swiftness of foot? Why were your feet so slow?" While the Sparrow was thus speaking, a hawk suddenly seized him and killed him. The Hare was comforted in her death, and expiring said, "Ah! you who so lately, when you supposed yourself safe, exulted over my calamity, have now reason to deplore a similar misfortune."
Soda Dungeon 2 is a turn-based RPG sequel to the popular Soda Dungeon. The first game was released on Steam back in 2015, eventually making its way over to mobile devices where it's been downloaded over 1 million times. Soda Dungeon 2 is set to release in 2020 on both iOS and Android.

The game starts off in a tavern where rather than selling alcoholic beverages they sell supposedly excellent sodas. This tavern also happens to be located in close proximity to a gigantic dungeon so it naturally attracts a lot of heroes.

You'll recruit these various heroes and take them into the dungeons where they'll fight a colourful cast of enemies. As you can see from the trailer below there's a good amount of variety in the enemy types. From the serious to the absurd. One moment you could be fighting a dragon while the next you'll be battling a weird cupcake fairy.
